Hanami Katana 花見
Hanami Katana 花見 is one of the softest, most graceful blades in our collection. Its name — meaning "flower viewing," the centuries-old Japanese tradition of admiring cherry blossoms in spring — is captured in a snow-white saya scattered with drifting pink sakura petals, paired with a pink-wrapped tsuka and a keen T10 steel blade. This is a sword that carries the quiet beauty of a spring afternoon.

DESCRIPTION
The 花見 — Hanami Katana takes its name from the beloved Japanese custom of hanami, gathering beneath the cherry trees to watch the blossoms fall. One look at the saya explains the name: a pure snow-white lacquer base is dusted with soft pink sakura petals that seem to drift across the scabbard as if caught on a spring breeze. No two scabbards fall exactly alike.
The blade is forged from high-carbon T10 steel and clay-tempered to bring out a gentle, cloudy hamon along the edge. Mirror-polished and bright, it pairs precision with the resilience T10 is prized for — an edge that bites cleanly and a spine that absorbs shock. Behind the delicate looks is a blade built to cut.
The tsuka is wrapped in soft pink ito over genuine white samegawa rayskin, finished with a matching sageo cord, while the iron fittings carry the sakura motif from guard to pommel. The result is a koshirae that feels light, elegant and unmistakably feminine in spirit, without giving up the balance of a real katana.
Full-tang and built to the same exacting standards as every blade in this line, the 花見 — Hanami Katana is a collector's piece first and a cutter second. Available sharpened for tameshigiri or left unsharpened for display, with optional hand engraving. The Blade of Falling Blossoms.
